My friend started researching stones as a means to help her mother's health problems. She found that certain stones interact with the body and helped with the problems. It is said that Lava give additional energy and Moonstone helps to align the hormone production, metabolism and reproduction. Since I was helping my friend make the necklaces I tried wearing a few to see if I was affected. They did not solve the problems, but they helped and now I now wear them often for the benefits.
